AN fittings ... american or metric threads ?

gonna be installing toms regulator when it comes in and i was wondering about this

both sides of the reg. take an -6 fittings and if its a fitting size thats available at the hardware or parts store i was considering simply mounting the regulator on the engine and running brake line from the modified old reg to the new reg

possible , or do we have to get an fittings for the job ?

why do u always like to take shortcuts?

hardline is not a shortcut , its simply a choice that saves money

look at the shortcut these guys took !!!

Go to ferry and get any and all an fittings you need, they will also assemble the line for you:) If you have any issues trying to adapt the unit let me know I may be of some help.

:sigh:

The A/N stands for Army/Navy so they’re american but I see you figured that out already.

it doesnt matter that they have SAE thread, they won’t seal unless you use use other AN fittings…but its only fuel lines youre trying to ghetto rig…

You just need to use A/N flare adapters to go to hardline

good selection here

thank you, the answer i wanted. ironicly about 2 minutes ago i also namanged to find online that an fittings have a 45* flare, which is what i was trying to find last night when i asked

and i think i can manage to run some steel fuel lines that seal perfectly, please only accuse me of ghetto rigging fuel lines when im using barb fittings and worm clamps to run pressure lines

ummmm…did i not say they wont seal unless you go to another AN fitting? wouldn’t an AN adaptor be an AN fitting???

ADAPTER being the key word, they sell fittings that are 45* on one side and 37 on the other

the 45 side seals to the an port on the reg, the 37 seals to the flare on the brake line, simple as that

Just go to ferry, they will have everything you will need, will put it together for you, and shouldn’t charge you TOO TOO much. And they are nice to boot.
