My co-worker owns an e-cig company and he said the day this story broke that the idiot probably modded his unit or did something stupid like hook it up to a car battery.

What’s your friends company? There’s a proposal out there to ban the sale of e-cigarettes to minors and also to ban certain non-tobacco products from sale in New York. I’d be interested in talking to someone who owns one of these companies, see how big of an impact it would have on their business.
