Good calls on the word spread. Im using etrade for my savings(same rate) but im not so happy I might look elsewhere. I love 5.05% because im too much of a puss to invest in anything so savings FTW.

I’ve had a 5% APY online savings acct with HSBC for a year now, made ~$200 in interest so far. Not a bad deal at all.

Then you get rape on your income tax. In reality you get roughly about 150.

income tax is a fact of life. at least you get a good chunk of it that you would’ve have before doing this. good find :slight_smile:

I’ve been with HSBC’s “online” savings since it was released, made at least 1k+ in interest in the years. Can’t beat it, wish they’d allow more depos/withdraws per mo but i’ll/have lived with their limits so far.
