OK, here’s the gig with this…Two years ago I was still building Jeeps and Rovers for overland expedition use…driving a modded GTi for my Daily. I get a call from a VW buddy. He says I NEED to see this place. A guy, one town over from me has a barn full of CRAZY cars…JDM Skylines blah blah. My bud, Glen, was hired to do some general maintenance and begin cleaing the cars.
So, He clears it with his “boss” and I get the nod to swing by. Everything is a lil weird…Glen is walking on eggshells.
Anyhow I show up and am stunned.
5 skyline GTR’s (Vspec R32’s)
8 Mazda 323 GTRs
A million and one Mini’s (a few turbo’d…)
My fav… 1964 Alpha’s (3 of them…)
…and a ton more…Diesel Glendenwagons, mini-moke’s, the list is LONG and dusty.
I start doing some digging after my visit…guy is definately shady…years before he’s had a mysterious house fire that burned a multi-million dollar car collection beyond recognition…hmmmmmm. He kept calling me for a few months after, trying to contract us to build him a D90.
The sad part, for me, really is that these cars will never ever see daylight again.
I hope you guys enjoy the pics…heck, even the teens here will dig the skylines.
I remember a few years back of some guy finding a couple trailers welded shut in some backwoods town farm. They contained, among other things a Hemi Cuda and a Shelby GT500

I remember that story. The guy was a collector who got paranoid so he hid all his cars and parts in a bunch of trailers, welded the doors shut and parked the back to back somewhere in the 80’s. When he died they found everything. It was a bunch of hard to find GM stuff.
