Another boosted LSX JAM FACTORY

Motor is all buttoned up. Finally got my Oil PSI sensor and MAP sensor. Started with just the long block in the car yesterday morning, after a solid day of work everything down to the coil packs and plug wires is done. With the addition of oil, coolant and a serp belt, she is ready to fire. Had a nightmare with the way the way the tensioner relocation bracket was mounted. Made a new hole, did some grinding and it fits now better than ever, gives much more clearance and a lot more of the belt is on the balancer (the way spoolin performance designed it, maybe only 2 inches of the belt were in contact with the balancer)

Turbo and cold piping mounted up hopefully for a LONG time. All wiring is done with the exception of the fans. Basically all i need is-
Send my filter back to summit and get the correct one
serp belt
vaccum lines
coolant
oil
base tune

yeah yeah i know, intercooler needs to go about a half inch +/- to the drivers side… good thing i made the bracket adjustable.

What’s with all these shops designing stuff and selling it for lots of money and not ever test fitting shit? I get frustrated just reading about it as ive been there before. I can only imagine the profanity that must of came out of your mouth!

nope. Need to get a base tune figured out.

:frowning: If you guys get the data logging figured out it will be a breeze. But at this point if you don;t want to mess with it I would probably see if you can get it to new era.

Did you guys change the initial adder and decay stuff I sent over? I just looked at that log and two things it jumps lean as the idle drops. Either:
A.) Afterstart Enrichment has an issue
B.) You just need to add fuel to that cell/area of the VE

Can you keep it running or does it die no matter what right there?

Shawn would be the man to talk to. I was turning wrenches and he was Mr. Wizard with the laptop. It stays running and idles fine, just goes stupid lean after it drops to idle.

Go to mike at new era. Why spend all the time and money messing w it when he’s the best around and proven it time and time again. His rate and skill is worth much more than he charges

+1 on adding fuel to the VEs your hitting at idle.

Mike at New Era has a pretty good reputation around here in domestic land. He tuned my father in law’s supercharged charger. No complaints. Good luck with it. Can’t wait to see what it puts down

I have a pretty good reputation myself in WNY from actual customers who spend money! Sure I can get the jam mobile figured out

Hopefully chuck gets around to tuning this soon…
