turbo stuff is coming along with pics
this was the old setup. car now has slips on it too.
AWESOME, good luck frankie!!
did i give you permission to use that form of my name?! :finger:
anyways thanks shitface
that is an interesting manifold setup
looks pretty wild frank
are you coming to the rally?
o yea if you go faster then 11.87 i will turn my ls turbo car up to surpass your time!
that mani is sick. i paid 1000 for everything and that mani on love fabs site is 1k alone. plus its got thermal coat on it. jeff we are gonna have to make hardlines for the rad though so ill be getting intouch for that soon. 4in d/p is pretty serious too. i just talked to my buddy about his bottom end that im trying tp pick up soon:
1.9l g/e sleeved block
cp pistons 9:1 on eagle h beams
with the new setup and that bottom end i should be able to reach 500whp easily. then ill be hunting pornstar in the trans am all summer :ugh2: oh and joe we will see. that motor you had was a freak i think. plus the driving skills are rusty ill be lucky to hit mid to low 12’s with that motor i got now.
While the turbo setup looks awesome, I’m more interested in the color on the car lol. I just think thats a good looking color on a hatch!
Sweet looking setup. But how efficient is that intercooler gonna be?? The inlet outlet on the same side setup never sat right with me, make sure you get a gauge to check air inlet temp. best of luck :burnout:
rock out with your socks on dude. looks like its gonna be some fun
i dunno but obviously the concept of a backdoor setup would be to run a super short charge pipe but i def thought about that as well. the guy who i got the kit from made 524whp with this kit so im assuming it works. i am gonna get a guage though to make sure.
habib its ford mineral grey. everyone thinks its green or gold but its actually silver.
the thing im worried about is the rad hoses well the upper to be exact. the guy said it was a pain he had to use an fittings and stuff. hopefully a trip to first try will get it sorted out when its all ready to go
Yeah you can do a AN Braided line for your upper hose due to heat. It is a pain to make it but after that you will be ok.
what size fittings and line should i use? also you got any clue how much that will cost?
They make kits for Rad setups. You will have to measure your inlet on the block and the outlet on the rad and find a kit that will work. I think summit may have some or atleast get the brand name from summit then call them and get your kit custom made.
ah cool i didnt know they made a kit. ill check it out. i was thinking of doing it in part hardlines but it might just be easier to get the kit
