I was going to post the same. It’d be one thing if you and a buddy wanted to go in on a joint venture on something small like this, but a gang bang is just asking for trouble.
I have no idea, but I’d think that going in to summer would be the tanning slow season as everyone opts for the natural variant, no? Those guys on that tanning show on E or whatever seem to make bank…
Very true. Your only market would be the professionals who are working during the day and don’t get a chance to see natural sunlight other than weekends (like myself) or people looking to vacation.
I say high end clothing store. GI peeps have some cash and the markup on high end clothing is INCREDIBLE. Get some good looking dudes and chicks to promote the shit out of it all over GI and wammo kids ringing their parents credit cards left and right, wammo!
slow season is the time to start a venture…so you can be ready for high season. Last thing you want to do is get everything together, work out the bugs, find your niche, then hit the low season…then wait for 6 months to start making any money.
I have another venture i’ve been wanting to start for a couple years now… personally ready now, but have to wait until winter since the high season is no doubt…sping/summer/fall.
As far as that show on E!.. the people who live in Hollywood…actually WANT to look good. Buffalo is full of sloths who are happy being sloths making the market not even close to comparable.
Champ here! I’m all about havin’ fun. You know, get a couple cocktails in me, start a fire in someone’s kitchen. Maybe go to SeaWorld, take my pants off. Anyway, I kinda known for my catch phrase WHAMMY! As in Gene Tenace at the plate… iiittt WHAMMY! WHAMMY!
high end luxury items are taking a beating in this economy. parents arent dropping the cash for their 16 year old to buy $500 jeans because they need to buy food.
Ya. Why pay about $10 per person to feed them healthy food you have to cook when you can just go to McDonalds or Wendys and get a burger, fries, and a drink for $3

i know of a former multi-tanning-salon owner in Niagara who had a regularly revolving cache of young hot women who would trade free tanning for regular sex.
Thats huge. I had to get out of a deal recently because the landlord was a crazy old man. Now he is a crazy old man with an empty building and much less money coming in the door.
That is always the case. Everyone thinks its great to put up a grand or 2 to purchase something small. Guess what. For 4 guys to get this off the ground, you’re looking at over $10,000 each. You have to create the LLC (which I would recommend) and that is a time consuming process. Don’t do it online. You need to make sure you’re permitted to even do what you want to on the property…
Then you have to buy everything, pay employees and pay bills… lots of bills. And then realize that at the end of the month when you have more bills to pay, you haven’t made shit yet. That doesn’t mean you don’t have to pay the bills that month. There are several monthly expenses I’m sure you guys aren’t even thinking about right now.
The business opportunity I turned down was a very valuable learning experience. What I learned on the deal was worth every penny I lost.
The bright side of it… there are a couple of smart and resourceful people on this site that could make something like this happen. And it could be successful.
