Springville motorcyclist hurt when struck by car in Orchard Park
A 52-year-old Springville man is listed in fair condition today in Erie County Medical Center, after his motorcycle was struck from behind, ejecting him from the vehicle, Thursday morning in Orchard Park.
Richard Manzone was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC, following the car-motorcycle crash at about 7:30 a.m. on Milestrip Road near Route 219.
Orchard Park police said Manzone had just gone from the 219 to eastbound Milestrip Road, when his motorcycle was struck from behind by an eastbound car driven by Jason Wallace, 34, of Lakeview.
No charges have been filed, and the investigation is continuing.
