I’ve lived in Elma, West Seneca and now Alden but have had many friends who lived in the city…glad to be out in the rural area. Neighbors are decent and have beers with many on occasion, can have parties, huge bonfires and snowmobile out my back garage door. You can keep your city and I will just drive in to enjoy. Lol
I don’t hate the city. It’s a great place to visit. With Buffalo it’s a lot like living next to a 3rd world country with a few nice tourist areas. I wouldn’t want to live in Zambia but if I could drive 15 minutes from my house with great schools and a yard and visit Victoria Falls that would be pretty sweet. I feel about the same about the Albright Knox, Shea’s and Harbor Center.

I sure hate living somewhere nice and being able to visit 3rd world Buffalo for it’s couple of cool attractions. Better?

Same here, can’t count how many times we have gone to shows at Shea’s, down to the bars, games, etc. and don’t mind at all the 28 minute ride home. That’s why I love Buffalo, yes it’s not the best city but being able to drive quickly downtown to enjoy, awesome ppl throughout wny (yes there are exceptions) and having 4 seasons…maybe I’ll move when I’m 65.

Just an hour ago my passenger side mirror(glass only) was knocked out of the housing at the corner of pearl and court downtown.
I was stopped at the red light, one car ahead of me, being that I was at a red light I decided to look to my right, and I saw an african-american on the sidewalk starring at me angry, and yelling/looking kinda crazy. I then decided to look away hoping he would as well, but instead when I go to look back I notice him walking up to my work van. He then gets to the passenger window and with both arms kinda slams into it and the mirror, the mirror folded and the mirror itself fell out of the housing.
He walked back to the side walk looking like he was still yelling to himself moving a bit strangely(no longer looking at me), I think he was a crackhead or on molly or some other drug. The light turned green and I turned on to court street where my service call was supposed to be, but I then drove past it and had to call my office.
Funny I tell my service manager the story and he said he would have shot the guy. Then he asked if I can get the mirror and maybe it will snap back on. And he expected me to go and do the service call which was like 100ft away from where the african-american assaulted my vehicle.
Yeah love the city!

he kinda slammed into the passenger window and grazed the mirror but the mirror did take a hard hit obviously he must of also taken a strength elixir.

Me too. Every time I drive through the village of Clarence some crazy old white bitch yells and throws things at my car. She must be on steroids or heroin because she is fucking strong. I am afraid to go to my little boutique store for fear that she will jack my wheels.
No way! This has got to be the same one I have to deal with! Actually, I think the word in my neighborhood is she’s been seen snorting Maple syrup…raw from the tree!
That would be sap. A country boy would know that. 
I think the city is nice in the summer. But winter fucking sucks. Sub-divisions also suck as well. So I guess I just hate everything.
I’ve been working in the city the last 3 weeks off of elmwood and cannot wait to leave. Had this happen today 
In case you can’t tell, that’s a school bus hitting a brand new $60000 truck with 100 miles on it because the city doesn’t fucking plow, every idiot plows their driveway into the median, and the bus driver was a woman.

My mother lives in the burb, off Sheridan by Brompton Hill. Apparently, two of her neighbors are involved in a civil case because one was throwing snow on the others property. “Get your mother f’n snow out of my yard!”
She is also putting her house up for sale in a few weeks to move back into the city. :dunno
