I just bought a brand new computer. I want to use it as a main computer for my business. I want my 3 other computers to run off it. I am having problems with vista. I need someone with some background in networking to come and get me going. Located in White Oak.

All the computers are connected together with cat5 to router. Vista seems to be working ok now. Main computer has vista and the others have XP (not sure if thats a problem).
We just need to have someone set them all up so they talk to eachother.
And we have a external hard drive that we need to be hooked up to backp the system.
Seems like some basic stuff for someone who knows what there doing!

Stipulations:
Just an FYI for anyone doing this fix, there’s a patch that may need to be installed on the XP machines. The Vista network may not detect the XP machines so the patch needs installed.
I have my Vista laptop detecting my XP desktop.
Just have to enable the Desktop sharing or whatever it’s called. No patches needed.
