I <3 my fart can with piping attached to it… ricer for life.
If it can’t shoot melons it can’t drop panties.

Before BikerFry’s gotta reach through the monitor and choke a ricer, here are a few things to consider:
-If Schmidts sprayed oil on your exhaust, your car would smell like burning oil.
-Yes, if your muffler or piping has a hole in it then it’s time to replace it.
-There is no such thing as a performance muffler by itself, unless your stock muffler is stupid restrictive (which it is not).
-The only way to avoid the swarm-of-bees sound on a stock 4 cylinder when modifying the muffler by itself is to keep it quiet. Otherwise you just have your choice of how loud and what the pitch is of your swarm of bees.
-Depending on where the rot is, you may have to remove a section of tubing to get to solid tubing to weld or clamp to.
-Can you weld and have access to a welder? If not then you may have a difficult time clusterfucking together clamps and hanger straps and will probably be better off paying a shop to weld up the necessary piping and hangers.

yeah i havent had any of my cars winterized or w/e its called at schmidts but i figured they wouldnt coat the exhaust for that reason, i know the owner of a garage by my dads house who has a welder and i know a little about but if need be, ill have him do the work and pay him off the books. I think if anything im looking at the 2.5 inch in/out mufflers, stainless steel because ive heard the aluminized ones rust out quickly, not sure on what brand or style tho, as long as it doesnt sound like a lawnmower

i bought a dynomax, 2.5 inch outlet, its deep sounding, not bad though, $40

X2, cheap not stupid looking and it’ll sound a little better, or better yet just leave it its sounds fine lol
yeah but its at its last ends so im gonna need to buy one eventually, either before winter or after, btw off topic, but hows anthony’s car running? i heard u guys got it going
then replace it with a stock one or one that looks stock, and theres a vid in the build up thread

There ya go, cheap and seems to be workin well so far. It’s just a muffler, so Autozone or somethin should have something with OEM quality (sound and performance) that’s nice on your wallet.
yeah im looking at spending the least amount of money i need to, only because theres some mechanical issues i need to work out too (lifters getting replaced at hybrid, new battery, ect) lol

no no no no no…he said MANDERAL, not mandrel…
duh…
Mandrill Bunt? Sounds kinky.
That said, if you are REALLY cheap you might want to look at junkyards. Otherwise an OEM style replacement for said section is probably best as far as keeping it quiet, and cheap. Dynomax, and a few other companies offer direct OEM type replacements usually.
