going to look at a buddies pc tomorrow. he just brought it and cant get verizion online shit to load on it so he can connect to the internet. Anything I need to disable in order to get it to take the software?? He says it will get to like 85 percent then just freeze and he has tried this a few times with the same results. Its also a POS emachines pc if that helps.
Get a real internet connection?
Or try running the install with admin privlidges, and compatibility enabled.
Any idea if verizon supports supports standard dial-up networking? If so try that.
Sounds like he might be trying to get it to load a non-Vista version of the software. Maybe there are two??? Just a thought. I’m probably waaaay off.
Do you have an access number? If so you can just set it up manually in network and sharing center.
