I have an 85 Corolla SR5 that I’m doing a twin-cam swap on. I got the entire car stripped down so I could get it repainted and freshened up. The car is almost rust free except for these two areas:
This is the driver’s side rear shock tower. Holes in shock towers is not a good thing.
Driver’s side inside the engine bay. Not as bad as the rust in back, but I’d rather take care of it before it gets out of hand.
I’d do it myself, but I have no welding equipment and no welding skills. I really want to get that back shock tower taken care of before I do anything with the car since that just does not look safe at all. Anybody help?
