when i was in tampa a few months ago the waterfront was boomin, and looked like alot of business was rollin in. However I dont know if i could deal with all the humidity.
humity and stupidity of people run RAMPANT there, waterfront was super nice however. Cost of apts vs buffalo is about 2.5x as expensive. Nightlife is pretty ok, people drink some crazy shit down there.
PS. Smoking in bars blow.
And yes Skunky, I have every right to say it’s meh, I do live in NYC… and seriously, most cities are very meh vs NYC lol
humidity is gone, it is really only bad during the raining season, july-september, but remember EVERYTHING down here has central air, which is great. Water front is amazing especially when you live on it. I just wished I didn’t live in a vacation home area. Downtown St. Pete is very trendy, college campus like. St. Pete beaches have a shit load of money, Clearwater beaches have a shit load of money(and the scientoligist), downtown clearwate is very trailor parkish. N. Tampa is bascially all industry, south tampa a lot of decent bars, a lot of cheaper places to live, a lot of young people. Channel side is where the rich young people live, ybor is an interesting combination of drunk young people and ghetto dumb fucks
ps. smoking is not in all bars, the law is if over 50%(I think) comes from food you can’t smoke inside
Oh yeah - btw, the tap water smells like ass.
and makes your ass burn too, brita for the win
oh and never drink out of a hose down here
“water water every where but none to drink”
For non-potable water we use reclaimed water, which is not the cleanest, but the amount that we need water it as a great cheap alternative
I think it’s “Water water everywhere, but not a drop to drink”
lol, I’m just saying, when I take a shower down there, I feel like I’m getting dirtier…
“why don’t you make like a tree and get the fuck out”
