Ohio doesn’t have vehicle inspection we only have emissions check.
So you get your title, put insurance on the car, go get 30 day tags (They stamp the untransfered title saying temp tags were issued). This gives you 30 days to make sure your car is gravy & pass e-check. Then you go back and transfer the title. After you transfer the title you can buy another 30 day temp tag. They will not give you your actual license plates until you bring in the paper form the e-check station saying you passed. But that gives you 60 days to do so. Sometimes you can sucker your way into a 3rd 30 day tag.
I bought the Saab in Ohio, but from a dealer and got temp tags
I’m not sure how they work, but my buddy had gotten a camaro in carlise before… I’m assuming they are pretty easy to get

Its a private owner and the title has a lien on it. Ohio is a non-title holding state so would I just get a copy from the bank to take to the DMV errrr???
I have the titles for all of my cars… ?? I don’t know anything about liens on titles here in Ohio though. I’ve never bought a car I didn’t buy and flat out own.
