Nope I’m clean shaven. Hell I even took 1/2" off my sideburns not long ago. My hair is about 1" long and I’m starting to feel like a damn dirty hippy.

j/k. don’t shave with a razor. grow it out. yes, this might make you look trashy for a few days, deal with it.
after that, use a bare beard trimmer to cut below your jawline. (like no guide on it, just the trimmer itself, ie: how they clean up the back of your neck after you get your hair cut)
the reason you can’t stand your neck hair is bc you cut them with a straight razor, it makes them sharp and after a few days when they get to a certain length they bend back and stab your skin

Jam is correct, if you’re growing a beard, ditch the razor completely. Just shape with an electric trimmer. The minor amount of stubble left behind won’t even be visible due to the mass amount of brrrlinsss that’s growing around it.
so I let it grow for a week or so, trim it with the electric, then continue onto brrrlinss pain free?

Last year i picked up a 20 dollar beard trimmer set from target and it’s worked amazingly, and continues to do so.
At this point I can’t remember how long I’ve had a beard. It’s been years. It’s all about the lack of upkeep. I have too much going on to shave every day.
