Anyone else sick???

I’ve been sick as hell for the last few days with a head/cheast/throat bug that was really annoying. So yesterday i tried to kill it off by drinking a ton of robotussin and some other vicodin/tussin perscription stuff i had from b4. Needless to say i was messed up but feel a good bit better today. Anyone else got this virus or whatever?

I just got over a 4 week long sinus infection. Vic’s are pain killers, they won’t do anything for a viral infection. For that you need pennecillin or amoxicillan (spelling prob sucks, oh well)

I just got over a 4 week long sinus infection. Vic’s are pain killers, they won’t do anything for a viral infection. For that you need pennecillin or amoxicillan (spelling prob sucks, oh well)

its a perscription version of robitussin (cough syrup) that has vicodin in it i guess for the soar throat or somthing…
yeah i know what vic’s are
“HYCOCLEAR TUSS SYR ETHE” is whats on the bottle if that means anything.
under that says “vicodin tuss”

antibiotics will not help a viral infection, only bacterial infections.

For viral infections, only time will help. They can treat the symptoms, but not cure it.

i got sick about a month ago, went to the hospital and ended up staying there over night for an iv because i couldn’t swallow anything and got my tonsiles lanced…then i was on amoxicillan for 2 weeks.
still not back to 100%. i sleep at least 10 hours aday

that sucks…i can’t sleep that much, even while sick i cant stay asleep.

I had a sinus infection not too long ago (get them twice a year). I always boil saltwater and breathe in the steam. Helps clear things up before it gets too bad.
