Ive brought some really unusual shit onto planes before…
They almost always inspect my carry on, but I never have a problem with what im bringing. As long as you dont have a towel on your head you should be good to go. Any of the ‘searches’ they did on my carry on were always stunningly poor. You can see the guy on the x-ray machine all pissed that he cant see shit in there, and flags it for a guy to check. They see its a skinny white kid and dont really care.
if they make you check it @ the gate, it’s in a different compartment than if you checked it at the front counter, you’ll get it right back when you exit the plane on the ramp. so don’t freak out if they do make you check it b/c you won’t have to wait for it @ the treadmill to end all treadmills.
i carried on plates when i bought my evo in chicago
had them in my book bag, when i emptied my bag out to go through security they didnt say anything about the plates
