I wish you the best luck. My GF while working at a hospital, she was 18 at the time, blew out 2 disks and pinched the syatic nerve. Spent the the next 3 years with pain, where she couldnt sleep, walk, run, or so anything she used to do physically. Pain where she would cry her self to sleep on 1-1.5 Darvocet pills. They sent her through 3 spinal injections, with zero results. went through 2 lawyers, 3 doctors, i dont know how many hearings, first lawyer dropped the ball too many time, NYS screwed paper work up, insurance company put shit off and wasted time. They finally agreed to cover the surgery last year, and she got the disks shaved and she is almost pain free (for the next 5-10 years). One of the reasons I absolutly hate ass hole people, lawyers, and general society scumbags like the ones we delt with for 4 years is becasue of the shit we went through. There is fucking scum out there making out like bandits off workers comp, and these are the people that made our live a living hell for 4 years, and I pray that you dont go through what she did to get what you rightfully deserve. She still hasnt settled with the state and the insurance company, and still deals with the bullshit.

The biggest thing to remember, is when you settle. you basicly wave good by to any treatment if you were to re-injor your shoulder. It makes it alot easier for them to weasle their way out then, if you settled prior.

x2 my dad had is back fused mad long ago due to a fall @ work and he’s yet to be compensated. :banghead insurance companies are a bunch of scumbags.
