Anyone have blu/black book values covering back to 1990?

Noooo I am not selling my Z, just using it to secure a some $$ from the bank for a new acerage we are buying and want to gauge what the bank is going to see the car to be worth.

Thanks

(Oh for those who don’t know what I drive, 1990 300zx TwinTurbo)

Dan, your best bet is to get a professional appraisal done. You don’t want to use the blue/black book values. They are seldom valid for “specialty” cars and don’t tend to reflect “market” value.

You should be able to get an appraisal for only ~ $100-$150 and it would be well worth it. You can use it to augment your insurance coverage as well.

I know, the Z in my opinion is worth $30 but The bank doesn’t look at appraised value thats the problem, at least so I have been told by my mortage broker at the TD, he might be wrong.

I planned to do that any just for insurance reasons but I don’t think the bank will consider it. I have to clearify this today with my lender and get the full story from a auto loans specialist.

I am only looking for them to loan me $25k against it which should not be a stretch by any means!
