I forget the specifics, but I believe these things suck. Something about it’s designed by Mercedes so you get Mercedes repair costs with Chrysler reliability. That would explain your 9 quart oil change lolwtf. Do your homework. There’s going to be a reason why one with 28k is only fetching $11k. :ohnoes:
I Don’t really think that matters lol…
LOL Deebo is smarter than you.
:picard: Well if you do your job great then go in with a dirt wife beater on and cut off jean shorts and greasy hair everyday. See how many promotions you get.
Unless you’re a cook or something it matters what you drive, look like, how eloquent you are, etc.
Ever wonder why they call 7 series the CEO line?
I’d say the reason why these cars are cheap is because they sold them so cheap.
I was looking at some 1 year old left overs and they were selling new but 1 year old for 19K.
They are fun to drive though I’m not sure about maintenance on them.
What other cars are you considering?
i would totally put this in my sig if i was allowed to have one lol
Appearance in the workplace matters, appearance outside does not. (unless you’re getting convicted of crimes. you know what i mean)
I Can go save my paycheck for the next 32 years and buy a 7series, but it’s not going to affect how people view me for a job candidate. Maybe co-workers will be like “omg, dude is baller yo!” But wgaf :sario:
What you wear and what you drive are two completely different things. Most people don’t care about cars, what you wear and how you carry yourself are the difference makers.
lol no. VP of engineering at Praxair drives an old Explorer. My father in law (who is president of American Brass) loves to brag about the time a two years ago when he had the CEO of Volvo in the back of his 98 Legacy Wagon. My boss’s boss who is next in line to be director of product line engineering drive’s a 95 Corolla. I could go on.
There are very few jobs where what you drive actually matters. Trying to sneak it in by lumping it with how you dress and speak is laughable.
junk.
Generally the drive to work sucks, make it enjoyable. Drive what you want, not what you feel you have to.
its just a re-bodied first gen SLK…
And taken prospective clients to lunch it does matter what you drive, but for a normal minion it doesn’t
maybe i’m just confused, who is going to be impressed with a chrysler crossfire?
the night shift manager at mcdonalds on transit?
Even if you are set to impress someone, yo will probably have better luck with a honda accord.
Are you as old as Xander?
Thats all I can think about when I see these cars.
you’re better off with an older/higher mileage s2000 or 350z, if you’re looking for a sports car that performs decently.
lol @ appearance in the workplace matters. Dressing nicely and having good hygiene matters. The car you drive doesn’t mean dick. If you think it does, your focusing your efforts at work in really shitty places.
I drive one the top 5 nicest cars out of anyone in my department EASILY, and my car is worth < 20k
Hmmm a 10 year old Mercedes design slapped with a chrsler badge and sold as a new car ? That has potential. :bloated:
Id say go with the viper spend the time fix it up. Ive been working at a west Herr jeep/Chrysler for a few months part time now and after talking to the service techs about these they hate them they said they were mistakes from the time they rolled off the lot.
Dear khoveraki,
A dumb person who shows up to an interview in a late model BMW is still a dumb person.
