I have been wanting one of these for quite a while. My wife finally convinced me that i work hard enough that i deserve to treat myself to a fun toy. Since my youngest is at Pitt, i sure as hell don’t need to do the minivan thing anymore. I thought about getting a Vette, but the whole ‘gold chain midlife crisis old farts drive Vettes’ thing bugged me. Besides, i wanted somthing a little different…something Euro…but not boring…
So after a lot of searching, here she is
2004 Chrysler Crossfire(M-B SLK) 3.2 V6, 215HP, 229 lb/ft, 5 speed autostick, and a shitload of attitude. 255/35/19 rears, and every toy you can imagine. Picked her up in Duncansville, with under 5500 miles on the odo. Original owner was a woman. Spotless inside and out, and the price was about 1/2 of what the origianl sticker was. Still has about 6 months of warranty on it, plus i can get a Chrysler service contract for not a lot of $$.
This is one FUN car to drive!! Not the fastest in a straight line(high 14’s), but this car handles!! I considered the SRT6, but between the higher upfront cost, plus insurance and other factors, i went with the N/A. Still has plenty of balls.
very nice :bigthumb:
nice, i like the cross fire.
very nice!
Did you get that at Blue knob? They have crazy deals on cars there, all under blue book. I remember seeing a grey crossfire there.
Yes i did. They had 4 Xfires there, but this one had the lowest miles. That place is NUTS, it’s like red lobster on a saturday night. The guy who did my deal had already sold 8 cars on saturday by the time we got there (3:00PM). They have damn good prices. I did everything over the phone, so on satuirday we just drove up, checked out the car, paid for it and drove home.
nice car my mom was lookin at one… but ended up getin a sky instead. very nice choice… still a mid life crisis car LOL
True…LOL, but there arent a lot of these around. Since i have been a gearhead all my life, i claim exemption!
nice

The owner is a super nice guy, too. I was up there once picking up parts for his '56 Dodge, and he showed us around the whole place & explained how the business works. They get peeps coming from NC, VA, MD, etc to buy cars from them.
Remember the douchbag that flew by us on the turn pike after getting your furncace? then getting pulled over
that was a crossfire
