so this software (cadra) we use here at work is pretty damn old… we pretty much use it for quick 2D layouts and such (just a real easy program to do that kind of stuff in)… the problem is, the program is still on our old win2K machines and it’s licence is dependant upon the MAC address of the NIC cards (in some cases… built into the mobo).
anyone know if it’s possible to fake a MAC address? So the computer would be looking @ it as seeing the old cards/onboard? We still have the CD’s for it… but in order for us to do it, we either need to fake the address or get new licences which isnt cheep (nor is it in the budget).
any ideas?
