If you get paid from “recruiting” friends and family into it, and not so much from selling the actually product then it is a pyramid scheme
it’s pretty cut and dry

:haha False. There is product. It’s stuff people actually buy/use everyday of their lives. Keep pointing fingers.
then concentrate on selling the product, not trying to recruit people…
you make more money form recruiting people though…thus it is a pyramid scheme
Well I guess the KK blinders were on to tight to notice all the good things happening around me.
Look, I hope to hell you make out well, doing whatever you do. I dont care if your selling spaceage wagon wheels to farmers or working a paper route till your 100. The fact of the matter is you are young, and your going to fuck stuff up… nobody can fault you for that, its part of the process. BUT us old bastards, once in your shoes, only come off as mentally unstable “know it all’s” becasue we honestly dont like people making stupid mistakes and bring them or others down around them. Atleast thats my motive. If you look at this, the TWC, and all the other rants I go on, you will see what I am saying, and maybe understand the greater point in it all. I am not claiming to be perfect, or even remotely close… but as krazy as it might be I know for a fact alot more than you think about this stuff.
that and the “hope your cob job shop sucks…” shit is just clinging to threads in your argument and attempting to put someone down. psychology 101 Its making you look like a disrespectful dick. Someone touting yourself as a potential business partner in need of your assistance to become successful, might not want to keep doing that!
I rest my case here. I said enough. Be sure to man up and post back here the day you quite this Vema/Verve stuff and let us honestly know how it went… for better or worse.
until then KK out :skid
Show some professionalism and respect, man. God damn. It would go a long way especially in the business world and as an aspiring entrepreneur. Your attacking reactions show insecurity in your venture IMHO. Take your ambition and start something that doesn’t rely on the sustainability of a company you’re not even internally involved with or at least something you could put on a resume. Just my $.02. You seem like an alright guy but attacking a man for starting a business around his passion or putting someone down for being happy with their career choices is bullshit.
So I crunched a few numbers.
For $499 on Vemmas website you get 72 8.3oz Verve, 48 8.3oz. Sugar Free Verve, and 48 “shots” of Verve.
If I buy the same 120 cans in RedBull (8.4oz cans) off Amazon it costs $204.95. (Other places considerably less). If I buy 48 5-hour energy shots from Wal-Mart it comes in at $112.32. So the grand total is $317.27 for the same in well established name brands. That’s a $182.68 difference between the two. My net price per each RedBull comes in at about $1.71 per can before shipping. Which you could probably pedal off for $2.50 a can.
How much are Verves selling for, retail price per can? Not to mention you have to give free samples of the Verve away for tasting, cutting profit.
legally how can you sell either product? I guess buying into verve gives you some legal right to do so. But without a distribution license you cant sell redbull I would have to assume. But I dont know shit about this. I actually would like to know for shits though.
Yeah but you left out the “success kit” included. Cant put a price on that…:rofl
You guys are ruthless.
Theoretically anyone could do a $400 “starter kit” with RedBull and 5-Hour Energy and still make money. Sully, start doing this. Fuck this hipster Verve jump off shit.
As far as selling their product, I don’t think you need anything with RedBull, just if you wanted to set up shop somewhere you’d need the obvious permits with the state. If you wanted the RedBull for less you can deal directly with a distributor. One of my friends who has a bar in his house buys RedBull by the case like that. He even has a small RedBull cooler on the bar top like a store would.
bar in a house?
I assume they only accept “tips” for said drinks.
Best New Years parties ever. If you use a RedBull, leave $1 per can. Kegs on tap.
Redbull that you’re buying off Amazon is definitely not available for legal resale.
So how fucking loaded are all you pioneers now??? yup i will keep my salary job!!!
/\ he’s BAAACKKKKK
+1 for job security and salary
True, I was just using it as an example.
It breaks down to about $2.98 for each item of Verve (shots and cans) at $499.95. So even if you sold just the cans and used the shots as give-aways for promotion, almost $3 a can net price is up there. Doesn’t leave much room even if you made $1 on each can and sold them for $4 each. You have to figure how much your time is worth promoting this too. That adds up.
Sell them for $5 a can for all I care.
$2.02 a can gross… wont even consider time and materials to do so.
You gotta sell 30,693 cans to make the same as a decent NYS specialist’s salary. (again LESS overhead to do so).
Or you need to invest $91,465.14 in procuring said drinks to sell for that year.
Now granted your not taking almost 100K from the bank buying a dumptruck of sodas to sell, so you will do it in steps. Buy $500 worth, make $120 GROSS (at KBB’s more resonable figures), put half in your pocket and put the other $60 in the “companies” account. 8.33 complete rounds of this and you will have enough to buy TWICE as much in one shot to sell! Then you can lower your price a bit, to get even more customers, and make the already happy customers even happier, sure you will loose a bit in the beginning, but think of it long term!
Is this sorta how that promo vid goes?
