Anyone ride the Kangamangus?

I’m thinking about going here instead of the gap. The Kangamangus is a 30 mile highway in the mountains of New Hampshire. Just wondering if anyone has ever been there and how twisty/fun it is.

Never heard of it. But I’m going to New Hampshire in July. Where’s it at?

Nothing compairs to the gap but this will save 10 hours of drive time total. I will go only if it is worth as far as twisties go. The Kangamangus highway starts in the mountains.

Here is a better map. And apparently it is spelled “Kancamagus”. lol

your gonna drive 10 hours out of your way to take a thru way that twist?..hahaha

Yes? We’d spend the day there. We have shit here for twisties.

route 2 out of troy new york into massachucetts is amazing. There is a days inn at the beginning of the road and its then 42 miles of bliss. Turn around come back and do it again. Start at Troy, take it to greenfield which is where 91 intersects. I did a search on google just now and apparently its a historical highway. Lee and I found this route on our way to Maine forest pro rally years ago and it was some of the best driving roads I have ever been on.

this picture does not do it justice of just how sharp and steep this turn is. DRIFTO!!! I have some photos of it that you have to put together in order to get a look at how dramatic of a turn it is. It’s a 180 switch back that changes elevation probably 20 degrees or so.

Holy shit. The next time I go to Boston, I’m taking that!

it’s totally worth it. It goes through a state park as well that winds through some canyons

sportbikes + knee pucks + twisties = shitloads of fun

if you have to ask, you’ll never know

Had no idea it existed. The worst part of the Rochester-Boston trip is staring down 90 for 6 hours.
