^^heard it wasnt the 5 though
Sprint blows, atleast the Nextel part of it. I finally switched to Verizon last month after I got sick of dealing with shitty phones and shitty service.
Had an.iPhone 4 since its release (was my first Apple product so no faniboi love there) had it for a year and got an “upgrade” to HTC inspire “4g” (the hspa mentioned above)
The phone and the Android OS fucking blows goats. Phone is so god damn buggy and needs to be reset on numerous occasions. And don’t even get me started on.the horrible gps. It might as well came with a chart of the stars so I could navigate by that, would ne more helpful then it is now
more useless info from pjb, thanks always.
… and youre new phone sux …:facepalm
Sounds like operator error. My HTC android phone is currently at 50 hours since boot without any bugs or issues. The only reason it’s only been 50 hours is because my battery died while I was downtown. My GPS hasn’t gotten me lost or fucked up at all, in the entire two months I’ve been in a new city and state. Sorry dude, but, I don’t know what you’re doing wrong. :dunno
will be getting it if sprint actually gets the iphone. otherwise switching when my contract is up next yr
have a 3gs , i get every other iphone so its my turn . I can wait for it .
Android > iOS hands down. It could have just been that phone itself…
Yea, my Droid X runs like a champ and I had a Droid Eris prior to that. The Eris was underpowered, but the X isn’t at all. As far as the GPS goes, it works fine. The Google Navigation app is far superior to anything on the iPhailure as far as I’m concerned.
Just got my Bionic few weeks ago, lovin the 4G/dual core processor combo. I’ve always like Android better than iOS.
iOS is a great system though, understandable why people like it better than Android.
.
:rofl
I was trying not to turn this into iOS vs Android.
love the simple part :rofl
We already have 4g in this area?
Yes, keep up with technology would ya! LOL
Yep! Fast too!
Maybe you got lucky but many people have problems with phones rebooting or needing reboot/software reinstalls. I have a droid that is bricked right now, it wont charge the battery and if i ghetto rig power it, it still wont let me reinstall new software. And before you jump to conclussions i never rooted this phone or tried to. There are many things i like about the droid but the OS itself doesn’t run near as smooth as the iOS. Even just trying to slide to the next home screen sometimes it just sits there. I constantly have to shut programs down.
On the plus side I love google, and the free market they try to produce. I hate apple and att/verizon controls on the app markets. This alone is almost enough to keep me from buying an iphone. Almost…
Also anyone arguing that the GPS sucks on the android not sure whats up, the stock software from google is a great GPS navigation system. My wife who has an iphone 4 uses my phone all the time for the gps turn by turn voice navigation…until it bricked of course.
If the new iphone is 4g ill be buying one most likely.
One of the main problems/advantages of android is the vast variations of phone hardware available. There are quite a few phones out there that just do not have the proper hardware power to run the OS properly. But they still make them because they are cheaper alternatives to higher end phones, and people still buy them. This hurts the overall user experience and leads to things like “Android sucks”. No…Android doesn’t suck, your phone sucks.
I had an original DROID and hated it more than any phone I had. I went from the Iphone to the DROID and loved the capabilities of it more but it was so buggy and the power button wore out on me twice. Constantly froze and restarted itself. My DROID x has been awesome for me though. Im waiting to see if the iphone 5 will be better than the bionic… if not, ill be getting that.
Edit for autocorrect failure
My wife is on her 6th iPhone due to failure, do you really want to compare?
You say it’s bricked, I bet if you put a charged battery in and place it in bootstrap mode that you could flash it with a factory SBF no problem.
Lots of Android hate is from people that have no business owning anything other than a fuckin’ firefly 2 button children’s phone or a nursing home big button clamshell phone.
recently got a droid 3 (dual core 1ghz, but still on 3g) and love it.
went for it over the bionic because most of my data use is in a wifi zone anyway, and i wanted a physical keyboard
HAI GUYZ, I JUS BOWT THS PONE CUZ ANDEROD PONES R SHIT.
