Anyone try the Beta version of Safari for Windows?

Apple has it up on their website for DLing. I hear it is fast, but is full of quirks.

Haven’t tried it in Windows but the I’m a bit ehh on the OS X side. I installed it at work and was immediately annoyed that Flip4Mac (WMV support) and PithHelmet (ad blocking) didn’t work. Understandable, because it’s a new version but still reason enough for me to not use it.

I couldn’t find a way to prove this, but I had a fresh install of 10.4 with Safari 3 and it ran. like. balls. Never had OS X lockup that badly, repeatedly. Even after removing Safari 3 the behavior continued so I just started with another fresh install (I have images I restore from so no big deal).

In the end it’s beta software so I guess you can’t expect the world.

BTW yeah I’m kind of a Mac nerd
