I’m in the process of building my S14 powered S13 and the turbo comes pretty close to the steering column…
I’m in a GB on my local subaru site for a turbo blanket for my WRX and was wondering if I should get one for my S13 as well. I’m running the stock bottom mounted T28 for now.
Is anyone is using one or know if there could be fitment issues?

typically the turbo blankets are larger. You’ll really need to tie it up good and close to the turbine housing so that you have enough clearance. You should be alright.
Yeah, they’re intended for a T3/T4 turbo (PTP turbo blanket), but I was told that they are adjustable enough to fit the T2 flanged turbos and will also fit the GT35R on my Suby

Sorry I meant no issue with regards to don’t bother with one. I dont think anyone runs one down there… I never had a problem, you get into problems with the BMC, cover that up.
