Anyone with a car trailor want to work?

Awesome example for the S2000 crowd. http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/7479/facepalmm.gif

We’re not all like this guys. Promise.

Im sick of the straight line shit, thats all. I really want something that handles. If that WRX on here didnt have almost 200k and need a bunch of work Id consider a trade for it.

I’ll accept that challenge.

I’ll be autocrossing the M3 this year while I’m getting used to the car. Dunno how many events I’ll do, as actual track days take priority.

Jellies- There are a lot of your style Mustangs that autocross very well. Just get a good set of tires, and a decent set of pads to start. Check out Hawk’s offerings such as the HPS. They’re perfectly fine for the first timer and shouldn’t make noise on the street. If you decide you enjoy it, then start worrying about suspension. Learn to manipulate your suspension as best a you can now, then upgrade. When you say it handles like shit, what exactly do you mean? Lots of understeer?

I HATE when people say a car doesn’t or does handle good. It’s very relative. Most people on here (especially the drag racing types) think that how many g’s a car can pull on a skidpad actually mean something. It doesn’t. Most skidpads are 200ft or 300ft circles with zero camber and a constant radius. You will never find that on a real track or an autocross. Plus people think that if a car does say, .9g on the skidpad that that is the max it’ll be able to do anywhere. Totally false. My Subaru would prolly pull a .95-1g on a skidpad, but according to my TraqMate data acquisition system, I was pulling well ocer 1g in some turns at Lime Rock and Monticello.

Im not sure exactly what the car does in technical terms but it seems like its gonna roll over if I go somewhat fast around a sharp corner and it switches lanes way too quick if I just move the steering wheel a little bit. Its scared me a few times on the highway.

Really nothing is broken or loose, the shocks and struts are new, front sway bar bushings are new, its got rear control arms and subframe connectors and a new steering rack.

Its just always taken turns and handled like a bus.

Im not sure if I want to drive it in competitions, really Id like to blast down a curvy road and stuff like that. Just be able to stick to the road.

94 Toyota Supra Turbo Skidpad: .98

Not far off from your 911!!! :rofl :rofl

Awaiting results of salvage exam…

I really wasn’t trying to be a dick… I’ve just gone through more hell than anyone can imagine with my house so it was just one of those things… lol. It was more of a joke than anything.

Lol, not hard. The 911’s a pig lol.

how much does it weigh? 4100lb’s?

Just under 3400lb, but the AWD hurts a bit when it comes to track duty.

hmm I thought they were heavier then f-bodys.

Can’t wait to see the race this spring between the John’s! I hope its a good one!

wont happen. The OP is selling his S2000

hey stranger…which John???

i think he was talkin bout me and the other guy

OP is Dave though

Should be a good season if everything goes as planned this winter… Lining up next to eachother is not the easiest thing to do at valley either, would be nice though. I’m only aiming for silver s2000s though…

88slowmarro and sbardy…should be a good race! We can make sure you line up against each other. All you have to do is count back in the line to make sure they are together or ask to swap someone in to make sure. If the SUV wins, you can bring on SSmokin SS after.

I think you can take the S2k if it doesnt have an engine in it…not to mention you don’t have to be a F1 driver to get decent numbers out of the Jeep. From what I saw last year, Alex better get some practice in first if he will in fact have some sort of mode of motion to it. :rofl

if smokin wants to run him he should go first , as if smokin beats him ill deff kill em loololol . my car is seconds faster than drews car till he learns to drive that thing . that and i know people at the valley , we can make this happen
