i have contacted Josh already, i have to get him more information first.
we already have 4 moulds for 4 different items that i regularly have built out of glass. I REALY want to get into the real deal CF… my reasoning is a hybrid of fashion and function. personally i just want everyone to know i can do the stuff in CF because it is a premium product and so few people are doing it right now.
i found some CF cloth, i should have it next week and my glassers have located the proper resins. it was just the raw CF that was prohibitively expensive through their suppliers i guess, though they have been reluctant to do it, they have been pitching me the CF overlay for while but that shit is for ricers.
we should be good to start production by the end of next week.
as for hoods, i dont do them and i wouldnt want to try… getting the proper skeleton underneath and then making sure the thing fits 100% is difficult.
with lips, valances, flares etc you can do some trimming and other minor work to make it fit really nice but a hood should be straight bolt on, especially if it is CF.
