Meh macs cant get virus’s LOL JkJk Good info
Ya my computer is retarded now ever since i got one, I cant open up my task manager because it says administrator denied the permission, even though i am an administrator! idk POS!
thats a spyware/virus issue you got goin there for sure
i’ll give you a hint it is not the computer that is retarded…
i have pretty much never used anti-virus/spyware software and i have always downloaded torrents/newsgroups and I never have issues. I don’t understand how people end up with such crippled computers all the time.
The issue there is with the carbon based unit located behind the keyboard. Try hitting it.
lol, ya no the problem is im cheap and have AVG free edition and i scanned the file twice before installing… But my computer runs fine but i think the Trojan messed with my setting and wouldnt let me use task manager and it wont let me change it back, im sure there is a way i just havent really bothered and i dont care too much. I have Spy terminator and it removed it, but for some reason every once in awhile it finds something
You don’t need to be cheap to avoid getting a virus… lol
Just don’t go to www.superhotsluts.com and start clicking everywhere you see a tit.
I just downloaded norton and am running a scan right now.
And no, i didnt pay for it.
My windows comps always ran fine without any protection. AVG free never found a virus on my main PC. I would imagine the mac would come out clean as well.
Never ran an anti-virus and still don’t but Norton is by far one of the worst out there.
I didnt look too hard into what antiviral is out there for OS X, its the only one i found in my 2 second search.
I scanned two files with AVG and it found nothing, then i installed the programs and rebooted then it gave me all types of problems i had to open up in safe mod download Spyterminator which removed the trojans, but i still cant use my task manager but the computer runs just like it used to, and it wont let me system restore. Oh well its a old computer and it still works for what i use it for. Im disappointed in AVG because i thought it was supposed to be one of the best free anti virus’s and it does update everyday.
Apple Security
lol dude at apple stole told me this
Ran a scan on the mac that i download all sorts of cracks and spyware ridden files for my pc. It came up with one virus in a file called CRACK.exe in my downloads folder. And .exe’s only run through X11, and that dosent have a file system like windows, so theres nothing to infect. And it wouldnt affect the main OS anyways.
So yea, clean as expected. And on this computer i go to all the good crack websites, and sometimes even click on the popups.
Obviously Apple is going to tell you to run some antiviral software. Theres many reasons for this. I dont see how this is a big deal.
Do they have an anti-virus that manages the PEBKAC and ID-10T errors?
Yes, its built into the OS.
