Well, after an exhaustive search I finally scored the wing I was after, for 500 yesterday. According to tracking it’ll be here Friday, anyone need a mint Frost White ITR wing,lol?
You guys should definitely try to make a hill climb, it really is the most fun I’ve had in motorsports. Cost-to-seat time is excellent as well, slightly cheaper than a single-day HPDE, but two days of racing. It is literally the only type of racing where there is no ego to be seen, even auto-x has SRS BZNS atmophere…
I will be running as many event as humanly possible, and will be posting a season log. I’ve got 3 class records to defend this year, but I expect lots more competition as my class grows from provisional status. Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks Foz, it was a relatively good season for me. I have to admit though…SMF is a new provisional class separating FWD cars from the high HP AWD/RWD beasts in Street Mod. A Honda Civic should not be in the same class as a 500 AWHP Evo, not even close. I didn’t have too much competition this past season, but I’m aware of a few guys converting to SMF from the prepared classes. I have more power and a better setup in general than most, but they have me on WEIGHT…which I cannot underestimate. What I really need to do is ditch the DC chassis and put my entire package into an EF…then I’ll be 700lbs lighter!
yeah, but I’d personally have a hard time going from a dc to ef chassis… and I loved my old winter beater ef!
I’ve seen a couple of the vids on RacePA, and it looks intriguing. But I think it’s going to be a while until I can afford to get all the proper safety gear in the car. But most of that safety gear is on a wish/shopping list anyways, so it’s really just a matter of time.
Either way, keep rocking it! Maybe I’ll see you out there in a couple years
