oscars grow very fast.they usually grow 6 to 12 inches in there first year from fry(baby) to adult

and they live like 15 years

thats a pimp tank…

Texas Ciclids are mean as fuck

texas cichlids aint that bad there pretty timid.they dont chase anything just protect there territory.the red divil i have is a different story.red devils are probably the meanes cichlid u can put in a tank and will kill anything at will unless they have alot of room to roam around

ok first of all a 40 gallon tank is to small for a adult sized oscar. But a 40 gallon tank is great for the beginning of a saltwater tank. Theya re basically a stout 55 gallon. Great for light penetration at only 12" I think. I have a bunch of high output lights, VHO, and metal halides for aquarium use if you are interested. I work at a aquarium specialty store so if you need anything anyways let me know. If you are set on the oscars I can sell you some adults for $15. I onl have about 50 of them though  If you are interested in setting it up saltwater and actually making it a hobby, I can get everything you need for a super discount. I even have a bunch of used equipment as well. Huskygirl, how much for the 150, may be interested, just sold the 125 reef setup. Jack

40 gallon is not big enough for even one oscar, they get hugh and they grow super fast, why not saltwater

hey zex where you work at? i also have a saltwater tank

what fish store u work at?

Aquaworld PSC on rt 65…I run the saltwater dept and do the ordering…was the GM for a while, but back to school. I can hook you guys up! We pay like $3-$10 for almost ANY saltwater common fish, which I could give the same price to you almost…just a bit of a markup for shipping. I am also a saltwater expert if you guys have any questions…although everytime I ask a question about cars on here I get flamed LOL j/k, Jack

snowhite, fish only or reef, I got tons of used equipment for sale…what size tank? need anything? Feel free to AIM me at zexaccord98, jack

really?? you that tall blonde skinny ass guy?

Im always in there buying crickets and shit

Lol yea thats me, I don’t know if I know you though, got a pic of yourself? I do know who snowhite is though, he has bought quite a few pieces of coral from me. Yea if any of you guys let me know your from pittspeed I can hook you up atleast a little bit…not on the crickets though LOL

Yea, and my car is sitting outside all the time when I’m working, 98 Accord Red with body kit and rims…

Well, they had 2 very small tiger oscars and I was just going to buy one but my roomate talked me into getting both. I talked to the guy about my tank size and he said my tank should be good for about a year but I should definantly look into getting a bigger one, 60-80 gal range. I tried to take some pics last night but my camera is dead, Ill try and get them asap.

$150. It may need re-sealed, but if you work at a fish store that shouldn’t be a problem for you.

you prob dont know me, but im in there alot.

wow…I am in there alot too. I usually buy feeders for the 10 piranhas I bought off you guys. Actually I bought a 75 gallon off of you guys too. Awesome.

Its kinda funny. I never post here unless there is a fish topic.
