Aquarium

Waiting for it to cycle. I’m trying the fishless cycling with ammonia instead of starter fish.

i was into saltwater fish for 3 yrs zexaccord is very helpfull and knows his shit , so ill vouch for his advice

The tank is cycled and we put in the first group of fish:
(4) Labidochromis caeruleus
(4) Pseudotropheus demasoni
(4) Pseudotropheus acei
(4) Labeotropheus trewavasae

In a few weeks I’d like to get a group of Pseudotropheus saulosi, maybe 8 or so. Or if anyone has other suggestions let me know.

Pics aren’t so great, couldn’t get the digital camera to focus too good.

neat

Jeff, u might want to take out some of those rocks depending on the size and quantity of the fish. Looks cool though

cool beans

I was actually thinking about putting more. They like hiding places, especially for avoiding the fish that become dominant and aggressive. I might have to do some rearranging as they get bigger to open up the spaces though. They range from about 2.5 to 4 or 5 inches full size.

It’s hard to tell from the pic, but the rock is mostly in the back half, so there is room for them up front to swim and toward the rear to hide.

Pussies. Tell them to stand up and fight!

A little off topic, but I remember my dad had South American Piranahs or some shit when I was a kid. It was awesome to watch him put in the feeder fish, watch them chase em around and bite their tails off so that they couldn’t swim, and then when they were hungry later on, they didn’t have to fight them. Just swim on over and have some lunch.

Also, there was this one time when my cat caught a live mouse. It was thrown into the tank. AWESOME. Not the most clean or safe idea, maybe, but it was amazing.

X2!!!

i wanna find a cheap house with a broke pool and turn it into a pond.
put bass and shit in it
