Are all 93' octane gases the same?

There is this place on the BLVD called Valero. They posted a sign that said: pure Gas, no Ethanol added. Wondering if it’s true or not? Also if the gas is 91 octance with no Ethanol added, is it better than regular 93 octance with Ethanol added?

Theres a placeon the rez that sells 100.

I forgot the name, but it’s the one with all types of fuel and the drive up cigarette window. My buddy gets his heating oil from there. They also have racing fuel.

yea, really horrible gas mileage is the downside to building power out of old school smallblocks.

if it has no ethanol that you should make more power with it in your average car. I thought the ethanol was a federal mandate for E10 at all filling stations?

I notice a huge difference in my work van and in my 90 SHO between mobile and sunoco. mobile = worse mileage and less power

what got done to your truck

I always hit up Fast track for gas.

The guy was probably concerned about old gas sitting in the tanks. Not a lot of people buy premium fuel, and gas station that doesn’t sell a lot of gas sells even less.

I personally buy gas only from busy stations that look modern. This means that they can upkeep the tanks, the filters, and everything else.

I used to think that e10 had to be on every pump in NY. I was doing some reading on the subject, and 99 percent of the gas stations are carrying e10 because it is a cheaper product. Also many of the wholesalers are carrying only e10, so pure gasoline comes at a premium.

Lol, that’s the place i went to and i remember seeing no Ethanol added to. And ive tried to figure out where i seen that.

i only use sunoco.

I’m 99% sure that red apple/quik fill’s gasoline does not contain ethanol. The gas is distributed by united refining and the wiki says they’re looking for sources of ethanol to blend with their gasoline.

sunoco 93, i only have 1 mobil near me, and sunoco is a lot closer
or kwikfill 93 if i need gas quickly

i get the best results from sunoco 93 and its all i ever run in the evo
i put delta 93 in it and my car was breaking up super bad
i also have had good experiences with mobil and shell when i have used them both

+one billion for sunoco, idk why but it is by far the best. i have had the best results with it, that and mobil too see to be okay

Fuck it, kwikfill is right near my house and is always less expensive then the mobil right up the street. Its all i ever run in my TA or my Jeep and both run fine. TA makes lots of power and my 6 year old 170k mile jeep gets 20+ mpg

I heard that Kwik fill gas came from PA, so thats why it was better.

But then I seen a regular NY gas truck filling at Kwik fill, so that is probably rumor.

In race cars, I used exxon gas for a while with good results, it just was the best, this was years ago, now id use sonoco in anything that isnt my daily, that ethonol blend shit kills my mpg.
