I just got my heads back from the machine shop after bigtime HG failure, and the guy there recommended that I replace my head studs. I thought the one advantage of studs over bolts was that you can use them over and over. :dunno:

ARP’s are reusable, unless they strecthed out at all. Stock torque to yeild bolts are not. To check to see if they were stretched at all, get a micrometer and measure them. I’m sure you can get the specs for how long they should be from ARP.
reuse them! thats why u buy ARP
arp recommends replacing them after 5 cycles
