are the art carr torque convertors any good? how good? there is one on ebay.
personally don’t like the idea of used torque convertors unless I know the vehicle that it came out of. Unless it goes for real cheap but I would stay away. i know you love changing trannies in your truck

the guy sent me some info. the guy said this is what he used it on.
“383 stroker made about 450 FWHP on a TH350 tranny with 3.70 gears and a 26” tall slick in a 3500lb car. the converter would stall at 2800 "
do you think it could be thrashed in 20 passes or just barely broken in?

i have a art car non lock up 9 1/2 3500 stall in my national…billet back aluminum
I think I would stay away from this if I were you Far Far Far away
Buick guys are always complaining about there being two Art Carr’s…one in Texas and one in CA…not sure which one is the good one though. Check out www.turbobuick.com for the info
