Ask Quik

not enuff proof yet!

thereve been many C6’s running 12.4’s.

LS2 is the LS1 replacement

So LS2>LS1

Now we just need to let the aftermarket catch up

how well will they take it!

I couldnt imagine the LS2 not handling as much power as the LS1… from what I’ve read theyre pretty much a like

we’ll see

hmmmmmm whats jeeves opinion on this

LS1>LS2 at the moment. not enough aftermarket for the LS2.

see GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVES knows

:nono: :jerkit:

hate to break it to ya geeves, but the LS1 aftermarket works for the LS2, for the most part

If you remember correctly the one C6 that dynoed with long tube headers, took the same long tubes off a C5 and slapped them right on

then what makesthe LS2 truely different if it can share parts

that question has been asked so many times… and heres the answer

MARKETING PLOY!

I dont know if the internals can be swapped, but i do know the basic bolt ons, can be

so basicly its nothign more then 6 litre with ls1 parts on it. so technically there is no difference then.

aluminum 6.0L

with the 6.4L coming out next year

now the 7.0L will be a different design, and still retain the GenIV name. It’ll have 3v heads and VVT, but still be OHV

hmmmmmmm jeeves was owned by blue hahahahahaha

Blue will end this debate.

LS1 = LS2 (just with .3L of displacement and 50hp more stock) :slight_smile:

uh-oh someone else reads more magazines than Quik, I thought that wasnt possible
