Thanks Beck and Quatts for the recommends. Unfortunately they were not accepting patients (I spoke with a somewhat unpleasant lady named Debbie).
I ended up making an appointment with Dr. O’keeffe of BMG. He seems pretty well known and is an avid runner in the area. I we’ll be great together since I loathe cardio, he’ll love that. I do my 3x/wk HIIT and that’s it.
He’s pretty far out of my way, but I really don’t care.
I gave up on this thread, but figured I might as well thank those that were helpful. If I wanted a random shit thread, I would’ve asked on BB misc. My liver tests are only a part of the reason, but the main reason they were off is because I was taking Duloxetine. Another doctor of mine clued me in on that. I have a LOT going on, that he just “mehs” everything.
The only reason I’m returning to bodybuilding is because of my health problems. The only time i felt GOOD was when I was at the gym regularly. (~8-9 years ago) After that everything went downhill when I stopped. If my Dr. would help me out I wouldn’t have to be going it on my own.
2.5/5 on 20 reviews, not bad. The only reason he is a 2.5 is because of all the high marks for his office staff. The place is honestly looking like it caters to people who can’t afford to pay their medical bills. There’s new flyers up all the time saying if you don’t pay your account you can’t make an appointment, payment due at time of appointment, late fees after 30 days… The only time I actually got help at the office was about 8 years ago. It wasn’t even from the doctor, it was from the Nurse. She was seeing me because the Dr. was booked up, and she was the first person to help me out getting past the first big medical hurdle. After that I’m still stuck. She wasn’t with the practice when I went back one month later… Never knew the reason.

I like his google review, the lady even put her real name so no bullshit. (unless it’s a fake real name)
“Dr. Becker continues to be rude, unprofessional and cold to patients and their family members. I have had several interactions with this doctor in which he talks over you, not allowing you to finish a sentence to explain your problem. My father had gone to him with issues and his answer was, lose weight, you’ll feel better. Only to find out that there was an underlying medical condition, a brain tumor. That was the cause of his falling, weak muscle and depression. I tried talking to him about my father and he was horrible, at times, almost yelling at me. I left his practice due to this and the fact that he wanted to discontinue my grandmothers feeding tube, stating " she is 95.” His care towards my grandmother was my deciding factor to leave his practice. I have had a few people tell me how they left his practice because of his lack or empathy and questioning his medical advice. Even medical professionlas have commented how difficult he is to deal with. There are plenty of doctors in the WNY area who care, and really want to help. Dr. Becker is not one of them."
I always figured with the medical industry that Age = Wisdom. An older doctor has been around longer so obviously he’s seen more, and knows more. I think this guy is trying to get all of his patients to leave so he can retire. I can’t recall the last time I’ve been in his office and saw another patient in the waiting room. He is a smart guy I think, but very impatient and only goes for an obvious answer. He also seems to be going through staff rather quickly, not sure what that’s a sign of.
Also my test numbers are in the low 300s… I’m not exactly sure that’s normal for a 26yo male. But he says it’s normal. I have all low T symptoms… However it is nice only having to shave once every other week. and not getting more than a little stubble.
Vita D was low, he said it’s because it’s winter and most of all Buffalo is low on Vitamin D right now. (even though I’m taking Anavite w/ red meat, so my vit D should be somewhat high?)
