ATL or Florida?

I hope you know what type of neighborhood you are living in a head of time…

hey i just moved to the tampa area about 3 months ago its not too bad. as for traffic depends on the time of day. i dont live in tampa i live in lutz but i work in tampa and its not really that bad

that commute is not bad, try living in st. pete beach and commuting that blew ass

Where in ATL are you moving…? inside the perimeter? (anything within 285) watch out for morning traffic on 75/85 and 400 GOOD FUCKING GOD!

Go to the Claremont lounge on Ponce De Leon  lol :stuck_out_tongue:

the recruiter that i have been talking to gave us a bunch of zip codes to look into. The apt that we are looking at is in Marietta, I gave the address to the recruiter and he is going by this weekend to check it out…I’m not gonna have to worry about morning traffic too much, since I’ll be working 2-11pm, but one of the landlords that I spoke with did mention to stay away from the 400. One of the things that I am most worried about is my car, since I have a brand new car, i’m worried about it getting broken into, stolen, etc…Believe me, I want to get into a nice, safe area, but I don’t really have much time to look…so any pointers on which areas to stay away from will be very much appreciated!!

just gunna throw it out there one more time

like I said before Sarasota>Tampa
like I didn’t say before, assumed I didn’t need to because there wouldn’t be anyone “hood” enough to enjoy Ybor. When i’m saying that, theres an issue.

Channelside>Ybor City if you must go out in Tampa

Ewww! Where areyou working. I wouldn’t want to live all the way up there. Borings ville and traffic disaster.

The address for my office is 5775 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. (30342)…I don’t care if its a boring area, i don’t plan on staying in the same place for too long, its just gonna be temp until I get familiar with the area and have time to look for something better.

If thats the case, I would suggest avoiding Marietta then, that commue would effing suck. It may seem short but that is the worst part of town for traffic.

I have some friends that live in Sandy Springs / Dunwoody which is a lot closer and would be more convenient. There are tons of places right around there, you should be able to find somewhere easy.

You should call ProMove. They do free apartment hunting and were really helpful when I relocated to the area.

thanks for the tips! does anyone know of any cheap moving trucks…we have a living room set, kitchen table and chairs, queen size bed, a pretty large dresser, and a few tv’s that we are taking down with us, the cheapest truck i have found so far is $880 with Penske for a 12’ truck

oh and i would need to tow my car behind the truck also, since its a lease and i really don’t want to put the miles on it.

When I’ve moved that far, by far and above the best deal was ABF U-Pack, plus you can drive a car instead of a freaking moving truck.

Well nvm on the above perhaps.

Penske is a great truck to get. Nice, new, good drivers. UHaul freaking B-L-O-W-S
