The whole of Africa and the middle east is important. As all these ‘countries’ have been carved and divided by British, French, Italians and Dutch colonizers. The very conflicts and clashes have been purported left and right over these places. For what? Strategic positions? Resources? How about the blood diamonds?
There is a reason why foreign nations specifically in Africa, Middle-east, Asia, South America have an anger or in the least suspicion of western governments because of the historical facts.
When it comes to Palestine though, the reason why it’s so significant is that it is unlike any conflict on the face of the earth of the past century or this one. A conflict so enduring yet constantly covered up despite the obviously documented oppression, massacres, ethnic cleansing, land grabs, eviction of the populance by military force… somehow the whole world is pretending delibearately that it is not happening and funding the aggressor.
The level of effort of the deception goes to such precise meticulous heights. Even the very language utilized to deceive people is chosen carefully.
“Israeli Defense Force” – ‘defense’ force, when all it does is really offense. This example alone shows the psychological warfare. When the Palestinians on the other hand are talked about fighting for their land, they are terrorists, they are ‘militants’, apparently the Palestinians cannot have weapons or an army but Israel can have the latest missiles, planes, rockets, tanks, guns, explosives, chemicals, you name it. Which they use indiscrimantely on the palestinian population.
On the other hand israeli ‘settlers’ are not terrorists they are just ‘inhabitants’:
This is a war and occupation of a people which is armed to their teeth and the aggressor, lying out their teeth vs the indigenous population which has been the most patient nation on the face of the earth. Resisting constant destruction, and no matter how oppressed they are, no matter how many houses of theirs get demolished, they keep rebuilding, they keep living, they keep striving and resisting.
It’s the most unique conflict on the planet of the earth and the most covered up. Israel goes to great lengths to fight it and has backing by government elites. Look at our own ‘mr harper’ he is pretty much going in the direction to criminalize criticism of Israel as if it is ‘anti-semetism’ when ironically there are so many jews who immediately spoke out against mr harper and felt disgusted by his remarks.
The way they continue this conflict is by way of deception. Creating the illusion that Israel is a ‘victim’ and wants ‘peace’, when in fact israel is the aggressor and continually starting conflicts while spreading lies.
Even when JEWS speak against Israel, they are ATTACKED, they are humiliated, mocked, discriminated.
Look at the goldstein report and how goldstein a jew himself was labelled by zionists? “Biased”, “Anti-israel”.
Of course it’ll be ‘anti-israeli’ because it exposes what israel did, does and continues to do!
Palestinians have tried numerous times to have ‘peace talks’ but every single time, I swear to God, since the 90s and even in 1999 when I began observing the conflict, EVERY SINGLE time, that israel ‘wanted peace’, it was literally time to buy, while right around the corner they CONTINUED to do what they were doing, demolishing/buldozing homes, ethnically cleansing villages, and building new ‘settlements’ to expand the israeli land.
How can you ‘want peace’ but then continue aggression and then at the same time say oh look the palestinians are terrorists, when they fight back.
The quick lies that are brushed through the media are easy to spread as most folks do not know the history of the conflict, who really is the aggressor as they cannot see it on regular television. Most people have a memory span of 24 hours and DO NOT CARE about what happens outside american idol and who can dance or some other bs ‘reality shows’.
