Attn: Diesel fans

right now in europe they have a new civic that is a 6spd 180hp diesel monster, and i want it. maybe ill be lucky and they will bring it here

What is the cost difference right now on diesel?
It costs quite a bit more right now, doesn’t it?

about 10-20 cents more than 87 octane right now. this is usually negated by increased fuel mileage though.

Yeah no doubt, the TDIs get silly mileage.

I use a diesel truck for pulling cars… Fuel mileage is much better when towing but I still won’t drive it daily because diesel is so expensive. I know someone that runs his truck off WVO, which he collects from local restaurants every week (takes roughly 3-6 hours per week of his time to collect & filter). The kit was $1000 give or take, and he’s gone over 15,000 miles on his truck this summer and spent maybe $30 total on diesel fuel (for starting up and cooling down). 15,000 miles / 12mpg = 1250 gallons = over $3,500 in fuel savings in one summer. You gotta ask yourself, what is your time worth?

We are putting together a Bio station… for about $600.
