I’d be cool with snow if it didnt shut down all the grocery stores and restaurants. I almost starved. I live a very hard life…

I was down in DC/VA last weekend when they got hit with the 6"-12" of snow. I saw only 2 or 3 plows out, and they were doing a terrible job cleaning up the roads. Took us over an hour to get from Reston to the Ballston mall cause nothing was cleared and no one knew how to drive in snow.
If VA gets hit with the full 40" JClark mentioned they’ll have gotten almost as much as Buffalo this year.

People dont know how to drive in it, which is understandable, because the average is something like 4" per yr or something. A bigger part is like Slack said, they do such a poor job of clearing the roads. The snow will be on the road for days getting packed down so you’re driving in it for a week.

Saw all 5 going down this one highway at like 15 miles an hour; staggered so they ‘got it all’. I was maybe 8-12 cars behind them, and I was driving through 2 inches of snow and sand.

Some NYers do. Most WNY’ers are pretty good in the snow. There’s still people doing 55 through 3" of snow when it gets bad out here.
Then there’s me 4 wheel drifting around every corner I can find. Heck, I drift around the corners in parking lot at work while all the van drivers look at me like I’m nuts.
