i played in the last sektion8 one, it was a nice set up. very laid back.
it’s far from a real pick up game. no one wore pads, and they didnt really need them. a lot of the guys didnt play hockey so they couldnt really lift the puck anyway. those that could, didnt. obviously if you have a clear shot on the goalie or something then go for it. but they all just watched out for each other, it was a good time and nobody got hurt.
dan was there, and there was another goalie. the other guy was pretty good… dan got lit up. but it was all in fun, so no biggie.
as long as no one out there gets all retarded and acts like its the stanely cup finals, then everyone will be fine.
i say skates stick and gloves… helmet may be a good idea, but not neccisary
