You still unemployed man? You like fixing up wrecked bikes, why not start buying some up for cheap, fix them, and sell for profit! If you can fix one or two bikes per month and sell each one for at least a grand worth of profit, you wont be doing too damn bad for yourself!
i thought about that, my dad even agreed with it. only bad thing is i need a backer at first then i need to find the bikes before the salvage yards do. i figure as long as i sell them cheaper then what other ppl sell them for it would be that bad. making a grand or 2 on each bike isnt bad, not bad at all. but not everyday you get a deal like i did on my 98. all i had to do was pay to get it out of impound
well, keep your eyes open for good deals. Like that Gixxer 600 for $500. You could fix that bitch up and make a few grand off it pretty easy I think. Minimal investment, good profit margin. But you’re right, the initial part is getting some cash to get started… BUt once you get your first bike done and sold, just keep taking that money and re-investing till you have 5K or so saved up and then you can start spending some of your profits, and you’ll be doing something you love.
if i had 500 i would jump on that 02 sixxer. i can easily turn it around and sell it for around 5. or a few less to hook up a boy of mine
Then do whatever it is you have to do to get $500. Borrow from parents and tell them you’ll pay them back the $500 plus a couple hundred in interest to make it worth their while, or go to the bank and take out a personal loan for a grand or something. Sounds like you could make 3-4K profit on that. Thats all the startup money you would need to get this shit rollin.
