they had that style for a while…it first came out in 1996
THe 1.8 Turbo’s are really cheap now!
and a new Denali is pimp!!
but they are gonna redo those trucks for 2006!
just thought i would let ya know…
97 - 2000 only made 150 hp then in 2001 they used the KO3 Sport turbo and made like 170 i think… so their is a lil difference in the years

my uncle has a 00 a4 1.8t quattro. the interior is perfect. but performance wise, stock, it is really slow. the 1.8t can be modded for pretty cheap though.

Where talkin about a A4 here…Its not a rare car or anything special.
i dunno wa slookin at the mand i ende dup not bein able to afford one, but i wasnt comin up with to much when i was lookin for parts, my bad,guess its not as bad as i thought
From what I hear GIAC will give you the most bang for the buck, and APR is the smoothest/ stock like. I will be going with APR once i gather enough bones
However, the A4’s only get 170hp, not 180 like the GTI’s. I do believe that once chipped, they will both be on par. Why they only get 170hp isnt discussed much on the forums ive been to. Most think its because of drivetrain loss due to AWD which is not true. Probably just cheap-o Audi politics.
Unless you want AWD that bad id say just go with a GTI. The A4 is a hog compared to the already pig-like weight of the mk4.
4 Mods for the 1.8t will have you running some nice whp#'s
Chip = $500
TB exhaust = $850
CAI = $130-190
N75J-valve = $65
*(additional psi booster, should have you spiking around 20-21… sometimes even 22, which is bad and will put you into “limp mode”… a safety feature which will limit you to 5psi… nothing a MBC cant fix though )
so lets say for about $1.7k youll be running in the 205+whp range with torque for days… hope this helps!
I like them, i drove my sisters when i was down at her place last summer. The inside and everything has that feel to it, like its an expensive car, when it really isnt. drived really nice and quick

Thanks for the info bud! … I was interested in maybe getting one in a year or so. I really wasnt concerned about the horsepower, I already got a car for building high HP. They are awsome all around cars, I dont think I would even mod an A4. Some people already told me i should put an exhaust on my Denali… I would never mod a daily driver.
