Wtf happened to the TBSS?
to much moniezzzzzz and avail of what she wanted ,cause ya cant order a used car
their a bitch to get ahold of/
we had one come in, and it sold in 2 hours…they are selling like crazy and its nearly impossible to get to the ones in our price range fast enough before they sell.
its going to be my girls car and she wont even floor her Hyundia. The car will be babied.
Smokin, My girlfriend was looking at picking up pretty much the same car. We went downstate to look at one but it was sold. I want her to get the v6 auto for sure, but she is still looking. Maintaince is key though. My B5 A4 runs awesome. But was well maintained. Control arms, Brakes, T-belt, etc all just done.
I HIGHLY reccomend doing a PPI. Well worth it. Audi parts ARE NOT cheap, and are very expensive to fix if you cant do the work yourself.
My 1.8t was a gem, only thing to go wrong was the coil packs. Like Brett/others said though, get on that timing belt.
PM returned - all options sent to you.
the 1.8t are a bitch to change the tbelt and water pump fyi. u have to pull the front end of the car off to change it. its like a 6hr job but not impossible. if she buys it and when it gets to that mileage and u dont want to pay a dealer full price ill do it for a cheaper price. just keep that in mind
Nick has done what, 5 or so now? :lol
He’s gotta be an expert.
And it’s not hard to take the front end off, I did it in about a half hour on and off to change my headlights and fix some chips and dings.
you have a jetta darlin slightly different. and i hope you didnt take the front end off of your jetta to do the t-belt. although that would be hilarious.
well anyways, she bought the car. I checked it over extremely well today. The dealer prolly thought I was nuts laying on my back under the car and having the car run and putting my head to the motor to see if it was making any weird internal noises…
The car has a 7 year Engine warranty directly from Audi bought from the previous owner…theirs still 2 years left of it so that was a selling point for her…and comes with the used 60 day/3000 mile warranty.
anyways, heres some pics…
TBSS!
too hard to get one for a decent price…
plus the gas mileage SUCKS on them.
Shoulda got the PPI done.
looks good man
Better make sure that warranty is transferable, dealer tried to pull that with me once and then they said it wasn’t valid. Also, read the fine print on the warranty, sometimes it doesn’t cover much.
No, the timing belt on the Jetta never got changed. :rofl
I actually like that now as they say on vortex… Lower It…
she bought a 36,000 mile/3 year extended warranty through the dealer.
