audi vs. bmw

i love bmw’s, but thats no surprise… i have worked on both, and the bmw is much more user friendly. there are pro’s and cons, but the bmw has few things i’d ever change. i do like audi’s as well, especially the ur quattro, rs6, and s8… i do love rwd, so bmw would definitely get my vote. the lsd aspect i love, i’ve had in all my bimmers. the e46 chassis is a little hit or miss. some lack the durability of the older cars. i’d have to agree with benny on this one, an e39 is an outstanding choice.

i do like audi interiors better, you can get a newer car with less miles with an audi in the same price range. I just like the 330xi’s with a 6 speed, but i also like the a6’s and a4’s. I just really dont know what to do

e36 interior is the best designed/ most functional i’ve seen

Paul you need an E39 540 6 sp

wanted one for a good 6+ years.

Too bad it’s held together with hopes and dreams.

??? mine is 100% perfect, and most of it is dyed by me… all my door clips/ panels are intact and everything. i just love it.

Drive my car and you’ll be sold. lol.

This man speaks the truth! :lol

+1 (S4 I’m assuming)…Thing sold me, but don’t think it could be replicated.

I get tons of comments on how nice the interior is in my car from passengers, a BIG +1 on Audi interiors. I dont have as much BMW interior experience, but like Benny says, hehe, theyre held on with tape. When I first saw his car, I told him it’s just my Eclipse RS.

Mine was not the best example.

You take your car and take all the panels off 10 or so times and see if it all fits together nicely :rofl

No but really, my interior was beat.

yea, ive never been in an M3 before, so I didnt know what to expect. I figured they did those panels for saving weight. my RS was like that cuz its a cheap legos car :lol
edit: you know what? make that megablocks, legos are expensive

none of my bmw interiors have been “cheap,” “falling apart,” or “poor quality.” maybe my cars have just been maintained???

It was actually the first generation bmw started experimenting with cheaper, biodegradable materials, and cost cutting on assembly/materials in general.

Shits so not cash.

E36s are best without interiors anyways

Pretty much, alot of my interior was broken to shit when I bought my car, again, Vot, don’t judge bmw interiors on mine, mine was horrid.

yea, i dont. it was the first M3 that i’ve seen. all the other bmw’s were nice, so i thought it was just that model for weight saving purposes.

I agree with Pete, maintenance plays a big role in this. if you get a car from a sloppy person whos had kids in there, was eating, drinking, smoking or had pets inside, that car’s done for. little kid’s are the nightmare of interiors. they destroy them completely.

Not to mention Dr. Douchebag McLiftsalot pounding his fists to techno while he has 7 different audio companies install 7 different systems in the time he owns the car :facepalm

any S4 with good control arms, a good alignment and good tires will feel like nicks… one with better suspension will be even more impressive… my friends got a basic H&R setup and his rides so nice… its so smooth, but is low.

My BMW’s were OK, but stuff did break. Probably was partially my fault.

I still want to get a ride in Nick’s car at some point.
