previous owner?
when you say good control arms, what do you mean?
Shit is so cash. I’m probably buying a 325 and the m50 that comes out of it is going to lay in waiting for the S52 to give up the ghost. Gonna put some turbo hard parts together in the mean time :shifty
Ugh. Yes.
ones that arent broken. the ball joints within them go bad, giving you that clunk or thud when you hit a bump. if they get bad enough it could have a shudder when you are driving, almost like a bad wheel bearing.
And eventually can fail and put your ass in a ditch.
ahhhh, ic ic. i thought you were talking about some kind of an aftermarket set thats superior to OEM control arms.
Do it up all Nick Furcheck style.
ive yet to see that happen. the ball end is in there pretty good, and the ball joint is channeled and held in the upright with a m10 bolt
Oh I don’t know much about Audis, but you see old S10s/Blazers/Jimmys with their wheels and suspension hanging off from balljoint failure all the time :rofl
B5 control arm’s
and what it all looks like
:facepalm
fuck all that.
that looks familiar. theres so many more things in there compared to other cars ive seen
what does urs look like?
I’m going to hire Brett as my personal mechanic. All these crazy charts and diagrams :rofl
That’s it. :rofl
i would love your car, but im just looking for something a little more simple, besides i only need one fast car, my dd’s are usually slow and i like it like that, it keeps me out of trouble
do your wheels lean into turns like mine do, Benny?
i dont work on cars anymore. notice how my GTI isnt done?
…
Does my camber change as the suspension compresses? Yes, but not as much as yours. That’s why BMWs run crazy static camber up front.
floating camber is BAD. Mk4s have that too, variable geometry, my car can go from like -.5* to + 3* through a turn… multi link is for ride quality, not to handle like an F1 car… audis take alot of work to handle even close to a stock E36 M3… being a 60/40ish weight split doesnt help them much with their tendency to understeer heavily.
