Auto tranny fluid and power steering question

I have an automatic tranny on my SR20DET (unfortunately) and i want to replace the fluid. Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of fluid early 90’s nissans need? I am guessing a D4 ATF will do since that seems to be similar to what the manuals need?

And i also wanted to double check, the power steering needs ATF right? would it use the same kind of fluid as the tranny.

And my final question, about how much fluid do i need to drain and fill tranny (compared to a flush) and the power steering?

thanks

here are some fluid specs for you

Fluid Capacities

Oil(with filter change): 3 1/4 qt (3.7 L)

Cooling System (including resevoir): 5 1/2 qt (6.2 L)

Manual Transmission: GL-4 4 1/4 pt (2.4 L)

Differential carrier gear oil: GL-5 3 1/8 pt (1.8 L)

Automatic Transmission: 7 qt (7.9 L)

Power steering 3/4 qt (0.9 L)

i would assume any dex3 or dex4 should be fine ? and yes the powersteering should have ATF in it just did my swap and flushed it with mobile 1 synthetic ATF works great, that should work in your trans as well
